In April 2008, the division received accreditation from the ACGME for a three-year fellowship training program in pediatric hematology-oncology. Positions were approved for six new fellows over the next three years. The clinical year of the fellowship training will take place primarily at CHRISTUS Santa Rosa Children’s Hospital while training during the second and third years will take place primarily at the Greehey Childrens Cancer Research Institute.
