Pediatrics Grand Rounds is held Fridays, from 7:30-8:30 a.m. in 409L of the UTHSCSA Medical Building, and are teleconferenced to: the CHRISTUS Santa Rosa Center for Children and Families (auditorium, 5th floor), 333 N. Santa Rosa, San Antonio. CME credit may be obtained for attendance at Grand Rounds via teleconference.
Pediatrics for the Practitioner
Pediatrics for the Practitioner is sponsored by the Department of Pediatrics of The University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio in cooperation with CHRISTUS Santa Rosa Children's Hospital, San Antonio Military Pediatric Center, Brooke Army Medical Center, and Wilford Hall Medical Center. This conference is held annually, usually occurring in late May or early June. This teaching conference is designed to provide new information and skills for those physicians, advanced practice nurses, and healthcare providers who treat children. The format of the course is a combination of didactic lectures for interactive sessions. A comprehensive course syllabus is provided to all course participants. Speakers of local, national, or international renown provide an in-depth review of a topic from both clinical and research perspectives. This CME-accredited conference occurs annually on a Friday morning in late September or early October.
