Medical-Legal Assistance for Families

Pediatricians know that social factors can harm their patients’ health and development. Medical-Legal Assistance for Families (MLAF) can help. MLAF provides free legal assistance and case management to families whose children receive care from the Pediatrics Department or as inpatients at CHRISTUS Santa Rosa Children’s Hospital. Physicians and other health care providers identify and refer families who need help with problems involving housing, education and/or public benefits.
