University-Wide Standing Committees
There are currently 25 standing committees, including the Faculty Promotions, Tenure and Appointment Committee (http://www.uthscsa.edu/comm/tenurelist.html).
Serves as the representative voice of the faculty on issues that may affect the rights, privileges, responsibilities and welfare of the university's faculty as a group.
